I know firsthand that trying to work through personal and professional transitions, overcome challenges, and live with a sense of ease and meaning without deepening self-awareness, making inner shifts, and designing a strategic action plan is nearly impossible.
I tried it. It simply doesn't work.
That’s why I created Listen to Your Life Meetups, Workshops, and Coaching Programs. I want to support you in getting clear on what personal and professional fulfillment looks like for YOU. Let's identify obstacles and ways to overcome them, create a strategy, and design a plan of action to make that life a reality.
Then as your Coach, I'll support you in taking consistent action, step-by-step, holding you accountable and cheering you on all along the way!

Background and Training
Since 2007, I have been credentialed as a Certified Professional Coach with the International Coach Federation (the world’s largest professional coaching body) which requires me to adhere to a stringent Code of Ethics when working with my clients. I was voted a Top Life Coach in Raleigh NC for 2017, 2018, 2019 by Expertise.
As a businesswoman I have decades of experience working for Fortune 100 companies, small technology start-ups and nonprofit organizations, most recently serving as Vice President of a global software company for 12yrs. I hold a BA from Hofstra University and an MBA from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
As a Coach and Consultant I partner with organizations to develop and reinforce strategic thinking, mindful leadership, respectful communication, authentic collaboration, and mindfulness as a culture. I am currently working with Promise Heights in Baltimore, MD, consulting and coaching through The Weston Network.
I have been studying and practicing meditation for over 15yrs and recently completed the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program, a 2-Year Professional Training Program taught by Jack Kornfield & Tara Brach. I am now certified as a Mindfulness Teacher by the University of California Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center. I am also a member of the International Mindfulness Teachers Association (IMTA).
I have completed studies at the One Spirit Interfaith Seminary in New York City receiving ordination as an interfaith minister in 2008, then serving as assistant dean. Over the course of two years, the seminary provided for me an inter-spiritual framework to explore religious traditions, to deepen my own spiritual practice, and to learn how to develop authentic community. That experience helped me understand the deeper essence that underlies the spiritual treasures of every major tradition and nurture a direct experience of the Unity at the core. My current focus is on the study and practice of Theravadan Buddhist principles and ethics, specifically the Insight or Vipassana tradition.
I am currently a student in the two-year Community Dharma Leader training program (CDL6) out of the Spirit Rock Meditation Center where I am studying the ancient roots of Mindfulness. The foundation of this training is rooted in the Early Buddhist, Theravada tradition.
I have traveled to Haiti to work with the Africa Yoga Project, teaching empowerment workshops to young girls at a YWCA and have also been a Life Skills Instructor with StepUP Ministry, working with adults who are transforming their lives after incarceration and/or homelessness. I currently offer mindfulness “Lunch & Learns” to organizations like Haven House that provide community-based services to at-risk youth and their families.
